1. Introduction

Sree Vidyadhiraja Trust ("we", "us", or "our") values the trust and generosity of our donors. This Refund and Cancellation Policy outlines the terms and conditions regarding refunds and cancellations of donations made to our trust.

2. Donation Refund Policy

At Sree Vidyadhiraja Trust, we appreciate every donation we receive. However, we understand that sometimes circumstances may change. Our refund policy is as follows:

• General Policy: All donations made to Sree Vidyadhiraja Trust are generally non-refundable. This is because donations are considered final and are immediately allocated to our charitable activities and projects.
• Errors in Donation: If you have made a donation in error (e.g., incorrect amount, accidental duplicate payment, or wrong recipient), please contact us immediately. We will review the matter and may, at our sole discretion, issue a refund or adjust the donation.
• Technical Errors: In the event of a technical error that results in an incorrect amount being debited from your account, we will work with you to resolve the issue, which may include a refund of the excess amount.
• Fraudulent Transactions: If a donation is made using a credit card or bank account without authorization, please report it to your bank or payment provider immediately. We will cooperate with any investigation and may reverse the transaction if it is confirmed to be fraudulent.

3. Refund Process

If you believe you are eligible for a refund, please follow these steps:

• Contact Us: Send an email to ramcatering2011@gmail.com or call us at +91 94435 59710 within 7 days of the donation.
• Provide Details: Include your name, donation amount, date of donation, payment method, and the reason for the refund request.
• Verification: We will verify the details of your donation and assess your refund request.
• Decision: We will notify you of our decision regarding the refund within 10 business days.

If approved, the refund will be processed through the same payment method used for the original donation. Please allow 7-10 business days for the refund to reflect in your account.

4. Cancellation of Recurring Donations

If you have set up a recurring donation and wish to cancel it, please:

• Contact us at ramcatering2011@gmail.com with your cancellation request.
• Provide your name, email address, and the details of the recurring donation.

We will cancel the recurring donation and confirm the cancellation to you. Any amounts already processed before the cancellation request will not be refunded.

5. Tax Exemption and Receipts

Donations to Sree Vidyadhiraja Trust are eligible for tax exemption under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act. If you have claimed tax exemption on a donation that is subsequently refunded, you are responsible for adjusting your tax claim accordingly.

Donation receipts will be issued for all verified donations. If a donation is refunded, the corresponding receipt will be voided.

6. Events and Programs

For payments made towards events, programs, or other services offered by Sree Vidyadhiraja Trust, cancellations and refunds are subject to the specific terms and conditions of that event or program. Please refer to the event-specific information for details.
